When there’s nothing inside, I can’t project it outward.
There’s nothing to make. Nothing to feel.
I am just tired.
When Elsa is emotionally or physically exhausted, she can’t manifest her powers at all even if she tries. This is because they are so tied into her mental and emotional state that when there is little to nothing that she can process emotionally and mentally, her powers shut down the same way she does.
Physically this will manifest by her skin no longer being cool to the touch.

When it comes to interacting with people, personal space is something Elsa thrives on. People getting too closer to her makes her very anxious very quickly. This is part of the reason she’d much rather be seen as unapproachable.

Cleanliness Habits
OCD level. Everything has a place. It needs to be in its place. You move it, she will not be happy. As far as how her organization pattern goes, she organizes in order of importance.
For instance with books, she won’t put them alphabetically. The books she likes best or that have sentimental value come first. Elsa has a system really only she can understand.
Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

Concept of home and family?
Home is a very vague concept to Elsa. It doesn’t mean to her what it means to others. To Elsa home usually means a place to hide. A place she can feel safe. Family is something she has to protect. A group of people she loves but can never be close to.
Superstitions or views of the occult?
Surprisingly Elsa puts absolutely not thought into this. She hasn’t bothered to research it. She just readily accepted the fact that she was cursed. However when directly presented with it, Elsa is very quick to just accept that other things a real as well.
After all, she’s a woman with snow powers. It’s not so difficult for her to believe that there are other oddities out there.
She does not believe in things like bad luck though.
Do they have any daily rituals?
Many. Elsa is a creature of habit. She followers her schedule daily. Breaks from that schedule are extremely pleasant but due to the nature of her position her days are very structured.
For this headcanon I’ll cover only her personal rituals. Things she does because she wants to.
The first thing Elsa does when she wakes up is look out the window. This never fails. Weather is very important to her. The colder it is the better.
Her next daily ritual is a book exchange. She finished about a book a day. So she, the next day, will immediately go get another one.
The last habit I’ll touch on is that daily she will either soak her hands or feet in warm water. While Elsa doesn’t get cold, she also doesn’t feel warm unless she actively tries to.
Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging
Elsa’s favorite indulgence by far is using her powers to do whatever she wants. Usually to create things, whether they are alive or not. Guilt is the primary feeling that surrounds indulging for her. It’s not right for her to do it.
Why?
Because she’s been told it’s not okay. She still fervently believes that.
But fewer things give her greater pleasure than creation
12. Favorite Book Genre
Elsa loves fantasy books. Book that take her places she may never visit. Her second favorite would be history books. She enjoys reading things from different perspectives. Elsa is well aware that she has lived a privileged life. Books help her understand how other people live and have lived.
11. Intellectual Pursuits
Elsa practically lives/lived in her books. There’s really nothing she isn’t interested in. But she takes a particular interest in philosophy. Why is she here–? Why is anyone here? Those sorts of things. Elsa likes to ponder why people are the way they are and how people fit into the world. Are we all pegs made to fit somewhere or do we find our own spot to plant roots in? That sort of thing.
A monster hides in the dark. A monster tries to blend in. Monsters lack self control. They have power no one should ever be granted. мσηѕтєяѕ нυят ρєσρℓє. Do you know what I do? I hurt people. The closer you try to push yourself to me the more I’ll hurt you. I’ll give you a cold, frostbite. You’ll lose a limb, a finger, a ʜᴇᴀʀᴛ. What does it matter if I meant to hurt anyone? What matters is that I do it.
